Resident Architects secure planning for a newbuild Passivhaus scheme in the heart of the Surrey Hills.
Between Guildford and Dorking lies the village of Gomshall within the Parish of Shere. Our proposal provides a well proportioned – limited infill scheme, adding four new family homes as green belt development to an existing 0.6h site at High view.
Located along the Shere Millennium walking trail. Care has been taken to ensure a sensitive and appropriate development sympathetic to the Green Belt, locale and the broader setting of the AONB.
The proposals seek to reduce energy consumption by up to 75% of normal house usage and includes a 1200sqm dedicated biodiverse landscape with houses wrapped in rolling driveways, garden spaces and terraces.
The team look forward to progressing the site for the commended design brought forward by partnering developers Gold Property.
