Refreshing MyLounge at Gatwick South with a relaxed, characterful space designed to make every traveller feel at home.
For MyLounge at Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal, the brief was to build on the success of the North Terminal lounge while refreshing its look and feel. Working closely with No1 Lounges, we created an inclusive, informal, yet refined space where travellers of all ages can unwind in comfort—a welcome break from the stresses of air travel.
Bold colours and tactile surfaces were selected to give the space character, standing out against the typically sterile airport environment. The Scandinavian industrial design influence brings warmth and familiarity, using lighting, acoustics, colour, and texture to craft a casual and playful atmosphere.
The lounge is divided by glazed screens and bespoke joinery units, offering individual spaces that cater to different traveller needs. Whether you want to enjoy the games room, relax in the TV lounge, or have a peaceful meal in the dining area, the design ensures there’s a perfect space for everyone.
