A refined sanctuary inspired by Jersey’s natural charm and crafted with No1 Lounges’ signature warmth.
The Jersey No1 Lounge at Jersey Airport reflects the No1 Lounges brand identity — welcoming, hybrid, boutique, and iconic — while expressing the unique character of the island. The concept takes cues from Jersey’s natural beauty, craftsmanship, and rich horticultural heritage, creating a space that feels both grounded and aspirational.
The design approach combines natural materials and tactile finishes to evoke warmth and familiarity within a refined setting. Oak panelling, limestone paving, granite accents, and earthen clay surfaces establish a palette inspired by the island’s landscapes, complemented by soft, organic geometry and greenhouse-like structures.
The lounge layout maximises views of the runway and sea, blending indoor comfort with a strong connection to the outdoors. Key spaces — including The Orangery, Library, Bistro, and Bar Lounge — offer varied atmospheres that balance calm retreat and social energy. Together, these elements create a modern interpretation of a local manor and gardens, delivering a sophisticated yet intimate environment that embodies No1 Lounges’ philosophy of curated comfort and authentic sense of place.
Acting as project manager, principal designer, architect and interior designer, we navigated the approvals process and worked closely with the contracting team to deliver a space that is not only inviting but also practical, ensuring the project was completed on time and within budget.rn
